After receipt of your application, it will be reviewed by a Screening Committee to evaluate the idea on merit and to ascertain the current status of development of your product/ service. If selected, the company may be offered incubation facility at SRIIC for up to 24 months. The screening committee may recommend a pre-incubation period of 3-6 months based on current status of development.

During preliminary incubation period, your idea converges into a proof of concept. Over the subsequent period of incubation, the concept is developed into a prototype and validated. During this entire period, incubated companies are encouraged to apply for external grants/ funds. Throughout the process of incubation, incubatee is provided with mentorship and other supportive guidance for making their ideas a reality.

• Enterprises with innovation at proof-of-concept stage with higher potential towards technology transfer are selected an incubatees in SRIIC
• Those with appropriate feasibility and scalability of the innovation/product as determined by SRIIC selection committee
• Enterprises that can utilize the extensive support structure provided to them and mature into a successful venture within the incubation tenure

The agreement with an incubatee is initially made for 24 months and may be extended twice, each for a period of 6 months at the discretion of SRIIC governing committee if the Incubatee makes such request.
